Biohubx takes steps to implement privacy principles and satisfy requirements with respect to the handling of personal information under applicable Canadian privacy legislation.
This Privacy Policy describes the personal information that Biohubx collects from or about you and your company, and how we use and to whom we disclose that information. All references to "Biohubx," "we,""us," "our" and like terms should be interpreted accordingly.
Biohubx is a not-for-profit organization and as such is generally subject to federal and provincial privacy legislation only in respect of its commercial activities, such as selling memberships, offering public enrollment in programming and information sessions, and renting equipment and facilities.
This Privacy Policy does not apply to the following: a) personal information about our employees, volunteers, directors, officers or independent contractors, which is addressed under a separate policy; and b) those activities of Biohubx that are not subject to federal or provincial privacy laws.

In the course of conducting its business, Biohubx may monitor the activities of individuals in respect of its operations and property, including through the use of video surveillance cameras in marked areas. Where used, surveillance cameras are installed to protect employees, guests and other third parties on the Biohubx premises, and to protect against theft, vandalism and damage to goods and property. Video recordings are routinely destroyed and are not shared with third parties unless an incident occurs that is suspected to be criminal in nature or involves a safety incident, violation of our rules or policies, or other incident, in which case they may be turned over to the police or other appropriate government agency or authority or the third parties involved in the incident.
As a general rule, Biohubx collects personal information directly from you. In most circumstances, we will seek your consent before collecting personal information about you from a third party.

This Privacy Policy does not create or confer upon any individual any rights, or impose upon Biohubx any obligations outside of, or in addition to, any rights or obligations imposed by Canada's federal and provincial privacy laws, as applicable.
